When client arrives with nothing they are able to provide toiletry packs/ food parcel and clothing from own stores / welfare fund for women and children escaping domestic violence.

Department for Work & Pensions
Maternity Grant: One off payment of £500 to claimant or partner who are expecting a child who are in receipt of qualifying benefit and where there are no other children in the family under the age of 16. The grant can be applied for within 11 weeks of expected birth date or up to 3 months after the birth.

NHS Healthy Start
Free vouchers: Eligible people can get free vouchers every week to spend on milk, plain fresh, frozen fruit & veg, and infant formula milk. They can also get free vitamins.
People could qualify if on benefits & have children under the age of four, or if they’re pregnant and under 18.
